flower skin

flowering scars
Your left far far away.
But your shadow burns into my bones and leaves deep deep scars in my soul.
It’s a different kind of scars.
It never stops hurting,
But it also never stops budding out
flowers after flowers.

pain
你在傷痛。
我不想抹掉你的痛楚,
我想正視它。
我想那讓你傷痛的復活,
因為你的傷痛代表你所深深重視的。
You are in pain.
I don’t want to alleviate your pain.
I want to acknowledge your pain.
I want to resurrect what causes your pain,
Cause your pain indicates what you deeply value.
你在傷痛。
我想承擔你的重擔。
我想做點什麼。
我想放入心力。
這樣我便不會覺得我什麼也為你做不了。
You are in pain.
I want to carry your load.
I want to do something.
I want to put in effort.
So that I don’t have to feel like there is nothing I can do to support you.
你在傷痛。
我不想說總有一道曙光或事情總有正反。
這件事非常非常糟糕。我為你要經歷它非常非常痛心。
它當中沒有孕育絲毫美意,但我希望美意能進入它的當中。
You are in pain.
I don’t want to say there’s a silver lining or there’s always a good side for a bad thing.
I want to say what happened to you is very very horrible. It is heart-wrenching to see you go thought it.
I want to bring beauty not out of your ashes, but in your ashes.
你在傷痛。
我想給你一個永不遏止的擁抱。
You are in pain.
Here, let me give you a hug,
As long as you want.
This photography series is a remembrance for @theotherjoshuawong He has left an impact in my life. In the justice conference, after hearing his sharing as a director, I built up the courage to introduce him a social project we were doing with the use of creative media. (My boss was asking us to promote it around ) He offered encouraging words. Another time I heard him said, doing sermon, “we don’t decide to whether we want people in our lives. We NEED people in our lives.” That really clicked with me to put down my pride and accept I need others to thrive. My boyfriend remember us attending the same creative art session of the Vine with him. His courage, joy, and hope during his fight against cancer has been and still is contagious. He has not lost to cancer, but has shown a life of how to win cancer. There are little comforting words to say, but only attempts of understanding for you @chelseawongnak. Hope this doesn’t sounds like a creep, haha, but I see the radiating love between you and Joshua as I sit behind at times during sermon ☺️Again, your radiating lives are contagious.
This poem is a remembrance for a counsin’s dear husband who passed away suddenly two year ago.
This picture is a remembrance for my boyfriend’s beautiful grandma, who passed away last year and unfortunately due to COVID, cannot be visited often.
This is for all whom has lost their loved ones, including my good friend who has lost her grandma recently to COVID.
My condolence.
